Monika Dash received a BS and MS in Science (Major: Physics) in 2014 from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune (India). Her masters' project dealt with an experimental and numerical investigation of the flow dynamics of blood in normal and diseased conditions on a rotationally actuated microfluidic platform. She joined D-BAUG at ETH Zurich as a PhD student in September, 2014 and is currently working on the topic mentioned below.
